Diabetes affect different individuals in different ways.  People diagnosed with diabetes keep their condition in check in a variety of ways, customized to their specific physiology and lifestyle. Knowing what YOUR body needs is a journey of learning.

Our training is based on the latest science and integrates several approaches in an innovative new way.

We base our training on several principles:

First, diabetes isn’t just a disease of the pancreas, it’s linked firmly to the brain. Training can not only inform you, but also literally change your brain and that can change your symptoms.

Second, brains can remap themselves to use different regions when the usual segment of brain tissue is not working right. But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s an easy-to-read book with many many examples: The  Brain’s Way of Healing by Norman Doidge. If you don’t have time to read the book, click here to read our summary. How does it work? It’s a matter of using sensory stimulation to open new pathways.

Third, training techniques become more effective every day. Our founder, Dr. Wendy Hardman has a Ph.D. in adult education and has studied training methods extensively throughout a long, successful career.

Dr. Hardman is a longtime professional coach and trainer; she also spent years playing music in nursing homes and seeing how music affected the residents. She has put together a program that leverages the latest research and integrates a variety of coaching and training methodologies as well as carefully selected visual and auditory stimulation.
